Steve Luff picked up the guitar at the age of 16 and has never been able to put it down. Steve loves the raw and emotional sound that the acoustic guitar can deliver and he maintains that he is at his happiest when the audience feels a shiver down there spine.
Steve is best described as possessing distinctive vocals and a technical but smooth approach to playing the guitar. His compositions are passionate, poetic, exciting and memorable. His style is dark and melodic with subtle hints from different genre’s thrown into the mix. In addition, he also draws on an extensive back catalogue of original arrangements of other contemporary artists.
Steve first began gigging three years ago on the lively Manchester music scene and has already shown great promise and potential. The highlight of his time in Manchester been a live interview and performance on the city’s premier online radio station; Manchester Radio Online.
Having recently returned to his home town of Stafford after an exciting 12 months travelling abroad Steve has just returned to live music, kicking off with a number of local gigs. His plans for the future are to develop his web presence and fan base as well as recording an EP.
